These little bread rolls are amazing! My dietician gave me the recipe for these. I needed something new to eat in the morning that was quick to take on the go. These are perfect for freezing and throwing in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm up. Smear with butter, almond butter, or mashed avocado.

How to make

The ingredients are super simple. They come together to create a soft dough. These soft rolls Are great for hamburger rolls or a side of dinner rolls.

All you need

Almond flour

Psyllium husk powder

Egg whites

Apple cider vinegar

Baking powder



You can top these with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning!

Split the dough into six balls. Grease your hands with some olive oil so the dough doesn’t stick when you form the balls.

They take an hour to bake and they are done when you tap the bottoms, and they sound hollow.

These little rolls are perfect for burgers, sandwiches, or to enjoy for breakfast with butter or almond butter smeared on them. They are gluten, grain, and dairy-free.


  • 3/4 Cup Almond flour
  • 5 Tbs Psyllium husk powder
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • 3/4 Tsp Sea salt
  • 3 Egg whites
  • 1 Tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Cup Boiling water
  • Sesame seeds , to top

    Preheat oven to 350

    In a medium bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix to combine.

    Add in the wet ingredients and stir. The mixture will start to come together are about 3 minutes. The psyllium husk powder absorbs the water allowing the dough to thicken.

    Split the dough into six balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with sesame seeds. Set on the lowest rack in the oven and bake for 50Mins. Bread is done when you tap the bottom and hear a hollow sound.

    Cool and store for a week or you can freeze then for 3 months.
